Cloudy Bay

A harmonious collaboration with prominent winegrower Cloudy Bay led to the creation of a striking team uniform which reinforces the winery’s outstanding quality and values.

Where possible we used natural and breathable fabrics and carefully considered designs were selected while the distinctive seasons and climates of the Marlborough and Cromwell regions were taken into consideration throughout the design process.

A stunning topographic print was designed using the winery’s new colour palette which beautifully reflects the contours of the land the vineyards are planted on in both Central Otago and Marlborough. The result is a testament to Cloudy Bay’s heritage.

Cloudy Bay Uniform includes:

  • A mid-length pleated skirt with signature topographic print implies the natural contours of the land flowing gracefully over the natural contours of the body.
  • Straight leg trousers in brand toned grape green which drape beautifully can be worn at the hips or waist.
  • The skirt and trousers are paired with the choice of a crew sweater, knit tee or cardi. Knitwear is made from 100 per cent organic combed cotton in lux Cloudy Bay wheat beige.
  • One hundred per cent silk scarf featuring the custom designed print.
  • New Zealand made Allbirds black shoes are the anchor of the uniform.

"We approached Natalie to work with us to create a new identity for our uniform to coincide with our exciting rebrand. The colour palate had already been decided by our marketing team, and Natalie dug deeper to create a special uniform design, using the contours of the land (whats it called on themap). The challenges we faced were making sure it flattered all body shapes and each team member would want to wear them. The impact of the uniforms is huge, no more staff just in all black, now the staff have a beautiful flowing outfit in brand colours. We take the ‘if you look good you feel good’ approach and believe that staff members who feel proud to wear their uniform and represent the company, work harderand give a better experience to our guests.

The comments from the guests/visitors have been wonderful, with many actually asking if they can buy the skirts especially. While challenging, this is been one of my favourite projects to work on. Natalie’s experience and wonderful way with people made this process so enjoyable. Taking on feedback, pivoting when required and her communication through it all helped me fully understand the process."
